Canadapsis perfecta
: Canadapsis perfecta was a Crustacé Fossile of the Schistes of Burgess represented well in the site of Burgess, (4 500 specimens). It is classified as a first ancestor of shellfish (currently, crabs and crawfish.) the creature had a segmented “tail”, a body partially covered by a chitinous shell (carapace), and a certain number of legs and ailerons. Canadaspis moved mainly by walk and dug in mud in the search of its food. Once food obtained, it used its jaw lower to capture larger particles. ----
