CFHTLS is an acronym of Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope Legacy Survey , project using the camera MegaPrime with the Télescope Canada-France-Hawaii.
History
The French and Canadian communities in astronomy undertake a great astronomical statement organized and supervised by a coordinating committee, and technically supported by a group of supervision of the data, the CFHTLS is an important company for the Canadian and French communities: more than 450 nights over 5 years will be devoted to the outline by using the camera with broad field MegaPrime equipped with the imagor MegaCam, covering 1 degree square and equipped with 36 CCC.
