Camwood Neely
Cameron " Cam" Michael Neely (born the June 6th 1965 with Comox with the Canada) is a former professional player of Hockey which evolved/moved at the station of right winger. He is currently vice-president of the Bruins of Boston.
Career
Neely was selected by the Canucks of Vancouver at the time of the fishing out LNH of 1983. After three seasons spent to Vancouver, it was exchanged with the Bruins of Boston against Barry Pederson. The following season, it showed in Canucks that they had been wrong by carrying out its team with 36 goals and 72 points. In May 1991, during the final of the conference Prince de Galles, Neely was put in failure hard by Ulf Samuelsson. This last struck to him a blow of knee in the hip which wounded it. Because of this wound, it could play only nine matches in 1991-92 and thirteen in 1992-93. However, during the season 1993-94, it returned in force and marked 50 goals in 44 matches. Only Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux had succeeded as well. This season, it gained, from its perseverance, the Trophée Bill Masterton.
To mark 50 goals in 50 matches is regarded as the trademark of the large strikers of hockey in the LNH. Maurice Richard, Mike Bossy, Wayne Gretzky, Brett Hull and Mario Lemieux are the only players to have marked 50 goals in 50 matches. In 1993-94, Neely marked its 50e goal with its 44e match, however, this record was not officialized: indeed, the LNH takes into account the first 50 matches of the frankness from the player and not the matches from the player. Neely marked its 50e at the time of the 66e match of its team.
During its career, it was invited to five matches of stars and was named in the second team of stars of the LNH in 1987-88, 1989-90, 1990-91 and 1993-94.
Its wounds obliged it to stop its career in 1996. Its number 8 10th was withdrawn by Bruins of Boston.
Neely was established with the Temple of re-elected hockey in 2005.
The September 25th 2007, it was named vice-president of Bruins
