Camwood Jansen

Cam Jansen (born the April 15th 1984 with Saint-Louis in the Missouri with) is a professional player of Hockey.

Career in club

It begins its career as a junior in the Ontario Hockey League by playing for the Spitfires de Windsor in 2001 - 02 then it is selected with the end of the year at the time of the fishing out of entry in the National league of hockey by the Devils of the New Jersey in fourth round (117e choice on the whole).

It still remains in the circuit junior a few years until in 2004. It then finishes a season with the Storm de Guelph with which it reached the finale of the Coupe Memorial.

It joined the River Rats of Albany of the American Ligue of hockey, frankness then associated with Devils. As of the following season, it comes muscler defense from Devils weakened by the departures of Scott Stevens and Scott Niedermayer. In less than 50 matches, it finishes as Devils having more penalty major (eleven) for brawl.

Known for his temperament of brawler, Jansen is appreciated of the public of Devils and it registers its first goal at the time of a defeat against the Capitals of Washington the February 24th 2007.
