Camless

Camless (literally " without cams ") indicate a new technology whose principle consists in individually controlling, starting from a calculator, each valve of an Engine spark-ignition , and this without camshafts. The latter are replaced by actuateurs hydraulic or more often electromagnetic, which actuate directly the valves with, inter alia advantages, a less consumption (the camshafts are important consumers of energy) and especially the possibility of implementing the variable Distribution ideally.
