Camille Canted
Camille Cabana is a French politician born with Elne (the Eastern Pyrenees) in 1930, deceased on June 2nd 2002. Former minister RPR, he was also senator of Paris, president of the Institut of the Arab world and assistant of the mayor of Paris in charge of finances.
Governmental functions
- Deputy secretary near the Minister for the Economy, Finances and Privatization, in charge of the Privatization of the Government Jacques Chirac (2) (from March 20th to August 19th, 1986)
- Deputy secretary near the Prime Minister, in charge of the Administrative reform of the Government Jacques Chirac (2) (from August 19th, 1986 to September 28th, 1987)
- Minister of state near the Prime Minister, in charge with the Repatriates and the Administrative reform of the Government Jacques Chirac (2) (from September 28th, 1987 to May 12th, 1988)
Public integrity
December 29th, 1995, the Association of the Parisian taxpayers, whose lawyer is Arnaud Montebourg, required of justice to continue for diversion, subtraction of public property and concealment, Robert Pandraud and Camille Cabana, former minister. It reproached these two personalities for having profited during several years from servants remunerated by the Town of Paris. This business indirectly blamed Alain Juppe, then assistant with the mayor of Paris in charge of finances.
