Cameo

The cameo is a Technique of Gravure, even of Sculpture in Bas-relief, used primarily on materials presenting of the contrasted Strate S of Couleur S (camaieu). It is a question of benefitting from this structure while revealing these colors at places wanted to create forms.

This technique knows applications in the work of the Pierre lasts, of the Verre and even of the mortar as in the Sgraffito.
