Calville

Caleville or Calville is the name of a group of Cultivar S of Pommier S with more or less lengthened corded fruits.

As of 1628, it is quoted by Lectier, prosecutor of the king Louis XIII, which had three different Calleville:

the white Calville,
the red Calville (or red Calville of winter, Calville of winter or red Calvin)
and the clear Calville.
