Caluire-and-To cook is a common French, bordering on Lyon, located in the department of the the Rhone and the area the Rhone-Alps.
Its inhabitants are called the caluirards .

Geography
Caluire-and-To cook is a commune of the northern suburbs of Lyon. In many inhabitants, it is the 4th commune of Large Lyon, the Urban community of Lyon (see external Lien below), after Lyon, Villeurbanne and Vénissieux. It is bordering on the district of Cross-Russet-red the with Lyon, as well as communes of Rillieux-the-Pope and Sathonay-Camp.
History
The commune of Caluire-and-Cook was created in 1790 by fusion of the commune of Caluire and the district To cook, detached of the old commune of Cook Cross-Russet-red the. Caluire and Cuire were old Paroisse S of the Franc-Lyonese.
Jean Moulin was stopped in Caluire, in the house of the Médecin Frederic Dugoujon, the June 21st 1943. A stele, near to 1 rue Jean Moulin was inaugurated on June 24th, 1973.
A statue with the effigy of Jean Moulin at summer inaugurated on December 19th, 2004 (birthday of the entry of ashes of Jean Moulin to the Pantheon) in front of the House known as of Doctor Frederic Dugoujon, Gouailhardou Place.
