Calpe

Calpe ( Valencian Calp in /Catalan) is a tourist city of Spain, located in the Province of Alicante (autonomous Communauté of Valence), on the Costa Blanca.

The city counts 25.190 inhabitants of which 58% are of foreign nationality.

One can see there the Peñón de Ifach, rock high 332 meters. This rock is a site of climbing considered on a world level. But it is also a natural reserve for many birds.

Very accessible and cosmopolitan city, it is the seat many typically Spanish festivals: races of young cows (" bous"), festival of the Moors and the Christians (" Moros I cristianos" , in October), festivals multiple in the honor of the Virgin…
