Calogero ( Calogero Maurici ) is a type-setter, musician (in particular low, Guitare and Claviers) and Franco-Italian singer, born the July 30th 1971, with Échirolles.

Biography

Calogero Maurici was born the July 30th 1971, with Échirolles, in the southern suburbs of Grenoble. His/her parents are sicilian.

Career of musician

He begins his career at 14 years and sign its first contract at 16 years with his group Charts (formed with Gioacchino, his/her brother and Francis Maggiulli a friend) with which he leaves 5 albums (of which an double album live). At that time, it does not post yet its true first name but sign " Charly". The group succeeds in boring (1987-1997) after being noticed by France Gall, partner of Michel Berger.
