Calliteara pudibunda

Calliteara pudibunda (syn. Elkneria pudibunda) is a night Papillon rare whose thoraxes, head and legs are unusually hairy.

With not confusing with other Species met in Europe;

  • Calliteara abietis (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775)

  • Calliteara fascelina (Linnaeus, 1758)
  • Calliteara fortunata (Rogenhofer, 1891)
