Call of the natives of the Republic
LAppel of the natives of the republic for the behavior of sat anticolonialism is a text French of 2005 calling with “bases of the post-colonial anticolonialism”, signed by a certain number of French associative personalities.
Context
The text is located in a context of dispute of the history of the French Colonisation, of which it constitutes one of the events, with the scandals of Dieudonné, the creation of a museum of colonialism, shown to present the colonialism in a too positive way and the dispute, for the same reasons, of the school programs of history; dispute started again during the scandal of the French Law of February 23rd, 2005.Bases which it calls of its wishes will take place in June 2005 and will lead to the creation of the association of the Indigènes of the Republic.

He denounces discriminations whose the ethnic minorities in France and the treatment of the French colonial history are victims, affirming that “France was a colonial State. remain a colonial State”. The contents of this text caused a sharp polemic in associations antiracists and the French intellectual mediums.This call denounces also the law of 2004 on the religious signs at the school, which for the authors belongs to a step colonialist.
This text deeply divided the Extreme left and the medium Anarchiste, a part of them finding this text communautarist.
