Calf off Man

Calf off Man , Yn Cholloo in Mannois, is an island of the Irish Sea located at the south-west of the island of Man to which it is attached politically. The two islands are separated by the Calf Sound ( Détroit of Calf in French, Yn Cheyllys in mannois) or more simply The Sound . Only two people live on the island which comprises one of the greatest densities of Headlight S in the world .

Dependant on the fate of the island of Man lasting of the centuries, Calf off Man constitutes since 1937 a faunal reserve and floristic with the restricted access because populated many birds of sea, of a fauna and marine flora varied as well as typical variety of Mouton of the island of Man, the Loaghtan.

Etymology

Terrestrial fauna
