Calendar haab
The calendar haab is the Maya version solar calendar 365 days, commun run with civilizations of the Mésoamérique. It is composed 18 20 days periods, therefore on the whole 360 days. These periods are more or less the equivalent of month. Come to be added to it five days “without heart”, Uayeb, which have the reputation to be dangerous. The Haab years of 365 are followed invariably and are not numbered. The question was put to know if the Mayas knew the leap year (see external bond). This calendar combines with the Calendrier Tzolkin, so that the same combination of the two types of date is represented only every 52 years.
