AJR (Recommended Daily Contribution) is of 800 Mg

The Nutritional Contributions Advised (ANC) for the French population are the suivants (3) :

  • Children

    • 4-6 years: 700 Mg
    • 7-9 years: 900 Mg
    • >10 years: 1.200 Mg
  • Adolescent: 1.200 Mg

  • Adult: 900 Mg

    • Expectant mothers (last quarters) or nursing: 1.000 Mg
    • Women > 55 years: 1.200 Mg
    • Men > 65 years: 1.200 Mg
  • Elderly: 1.200 Mg

A contribution of 0,9 X ANC gives a probability of 85% of covering the besoins (3) .
