Calabuig ( Calabuch ) is a Spanish Film carried out by Luis Garcia Berlanga, left in 1956.

Synopsis

A nuclear scientist Jorge, tired to see that its research was with the service of military interests, takes refuge anonymously of a village of the Mediterranean coast, Calabuch. People do not know his identity, but notice its knowledge, and propose to him to make the class at the local school. When the festivals of the city arrive, the competition between the villages makes him create of a rocket for fires of artifices. For this reason, it appears with the tv news. In this manner, the international powers discover its refuge. In spite of the opposition of the village, the scientist will see himself obliged to return to his country.
