The school of the duties is a structure parallel at the traditional school of day. The students are helped in their domestic industries.

The network of the schools of the duties is especially developed in Belgium where several hundreds of these organizations are counted. The purpose of they are to support the integration of the most disadvantaged pupils, but also to make it possible the others to be fully carried out.

In France these structures are not organized in network and raise more of the initiatives, the needs, the local possiblilities. Of this fact the abundant service bears names varied according to the structures, such as school accompaniment , assistance with the duty , course of the evening , and other alternatives.
