Caesalpinia pulcherrima

Caesalpinia pulcherrima , called blazing , small flambloyant , flower of peacock , pride of China or, in Guyana, macata or baraguette is a persistent shrub from 3 to 5 m in height. It belongs to the family of the Caesalpiniaceae , or of the Fabaceae , the Caesalpinioideae , according to phylogenetic classification.

It is originating in the hot tropical areas of America. It is the emblem of the Barbados ( Pride off Barbados ).
