Cadzand-Bains

Cadzand-Baths is a Seaside resort located on the coast of the Flanders zélandaise, in the old commune of Cadzand, amalgamated since 2003 with the Lock. Cadzand-baths is at the south-western end of the Netherlands, at the Belgian border .

General information

Cadzand-baths is located in Flanders zélandaise; the latter is separated from the remainder of the Netherlands by the the Western Scheldt. She enjoys the remarkable sunning, highest of the Netherlands.

Tourism

Cadzand-baths saw mainly tourism. It has a vast beach, but not dam of sea. The principal street of the village, the Boulevard of Wielingen , point of disjunction some restaurants and shops; it is there also buildings with apartments.

Events

Cadzand-baths knows in summer a weekly market Monday, and each year a festival of the kites.

Border

The position of Cadzand-Baths at the Belgian border does not pass unperceived. The local dialect and lifestyle “  bourguignon  ” are the same ones as in Western Flanders.
