Cadenette
The cadenette was a military Coiffure which consisted of two Tresse S or Mèche of hair on the basis of the medium of the cranium and rolling up each side of the head under the Chapeau.
Initially called moustache , it takes the name of cadenette when, at the beginning of the 17th century, Honore d' Albert, lord of Cadenet and brother of the duke of Luynes, imagines to attach it with a node of Ruban decorated of a jewel.
The pomegranate S and especially the hussard S are the bodies which preserved longest the cadenette.
