The family of the Cabombacées is a family of plants Angiosperme S primitives which includes/understands 7 Espèce S divided into 2 kind S:

They are plants watery, rhizomateuses, with submerged or floating sheets, areas moderated with tropical (except in Europe).

According to the phylogenetic classification this family belongs to old divergence and are not true dicotylédones. The family can included in the Nymphaeaceae , optionnellement.
