Cabo Delgado

The province of Cabo Delgado is most septentrional of the province of the Mozambique located at north at the border with the Tanzania, in the South with the province of Nampula, Niassa to the West, and the Indian Ocean in the East.

Its surface is of 80  145 km ².

It is populated of 1  436  000 inhabitants of origins Makua, Makonde and quimuane.

Its chief town is Pemba (old Oporto Amelia).
