Cabinet Erhard II
The second cabinet of Ludwig Erhard was the West German Federal government according to the October 26th 1965 with the November 30th 1966, during the 5th legislature of the Bundestag . Directed by the Christian Democrat Ludwig Erhard, it was supported by a coalition known as black-yellow Union Christian Democrat (CDU), Christian woman-social Union in Bavaria (CSU) and Left liberal-democrat (FDP).
It was formed following the elections of 1965, gained by the Cabinet Erhard I. However, the FDP broke the coalition later one year; the Christian Democrats had to turn to the SPD to form a cabinet of great coalition, whose direction was entrusted to Kurt Georg Kiesinger.
