Cabinet Adenauer V
The fifth cabinet of Konrad Adenauer was the German Federal government according to the December 14th 1962 with the October 11th 1963, during the 4th legislature of the Bundestag. Directed by the Christian Democrat Konrad Adenauer, it was supported by a coalition “black-yellow” of the Union Christian Democrat (CDU), Christian woman-social Union in Bavaria (CSU) and Parti liberal-democrat (FDP).
It is resulting from a vast rehandling of the Cabinet Adenauer IV. From a strict constitutional point of view, it is not a question of a new cabinet, because the chancellor did not give his resignation; the use however was essential to number it and to classify it like a new team. It lasted less than one year, until the resignation of Adenauer and the election with the chancellery of Ludwig Erhard, which formed the Cabinet Erhard I.
