PBC CSKA Moscow is a Russian club of Basket-ball pertaining to the superligue, more the high level of the championship of Russia. The club, based with Moscow is a section of CSKA Moscow, the old club of the Red Army .
History
In the years 1970, it gains four titles of champion of Europe including those of 1969 and 1971 pennies direction of Aleksandr Gomelsky and two finales in 1970 and 1973. At that time, the team is based on the talent of Sergei Belov which gains three titles of MVP at the time of its finales.Gomelsky will remain trainer of the club during 22 years then will occupy the position of president until its death in 2005.
In 1998, Andrei Kirilenko joined the CSKA. In 2000, the CSKA gains the first title of the European northern League of tennis shoe (NEBL) then in 2001, it is a participation in Final of the Suproligue. Become one of the best European clubs, of 2003 to 2005, the CSKA takes part three years of following the Final Furnace .
However, the edition 2005 is a failure: the CSKA is unconquered during the first phase then undergoes only one defeat, vis-a-vis FC Barcelona, before qualifying itself for the Final Furnace which is held in Moscow. But the awaited triumph is not with go, Spanish of the Tau Vitoria beating the CSKA in semi-final.
