CP/M , Acronym of Program Control/Monitor , is a Operating system created by Gary Kildall of DIGITAL Research Inc.

It is used in particular on CPC, Commodore 128, TRS-80 and Micro BBC.

The first versions of MS-DOS largely took as a starting point CP/M.
