CONSIDERING is an album of news of the group of Rock The Velvet Underground, left in February 1985. Good number of these news are also available on the box Peel Slowly & See .

In 1969, Velvet Underground worked on a fourth album when their label of the time, MGM Records, decided to occur their services, and especially of their too sulfurous image. The already recorded pieces remained in the paperboards of the recording company and disappeared during ten years.

CONSIDERING is the first of the two discs gathering these pieces new unearthed (and remixés) in the years 1980. Criticism often agrees to say that the quality of this disc is level of the remainder of the production of the group, while considering it regrettable that the mixing sounds too much “the Eighties” by certain aspects.

Meanwhile, some of these pieces had been re-recorded by Velvet Underground for the album Loaded , like by Lou Reed for four of her first albums solos.

Two titles emergent of the album: first of all I Can' T Stand It which is transfigured by the nervous interpretation of Velvet Underground in comparison with the version being reproduced on the first album solo of Lou Reed. Then, Stephanie Says , very distant from its later, darker form and melancholic person, on the album Berlin ( Caroline Says II ).
