CIBL-FM
CIBL-FM is a French-speaking Canadian radio station located at Montreal, in the province of Quebec (province). It diffuses on 101.5 MHz thanks to a multidirectional antenna with a power of effective emission of 221 Watts and a peak of power of effective emission of 193 Watts.
CIBL-FM appears in 1980 and functions under a Community license of radio. It presents itself under the name of Radio-Montreal . It functioned at the origin in the frequency of 104.5MHz with a power of 16 Watts since the top of the one of the pyramids of the Olympic village of Montreal. Its target was then the district of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. Its antenna and its transmitter are now located at the Olympic stadium and its signal covers all the city since 1991.
It is known to have been used as springboard with several radio artists and personalities as the group Rock and Belles Ears and Bazzo Marie-France of TV-Quebec. One of its former managing directors, Line Beauchamp, is the Minister for Sustainable development, the Environment and the Parks of the Quebec.
