CCTV-4

Central CCTV-4 or China Television 4 is a national Television channel Chinese specialized on the international topicality.

History of the chain

CCTV-4 was initially created like a tool of propaganda of the Popular republic of China bound for the Chinese territories escaping its control: Hong-Kong (until in 1997), Macao (until in 1999), and Taiwan. This is why this chain is diffused in Chinese Mandarin and often subtitled in Chinese.

Today, CCTV-4 is one of the principal chains of Chinese international information bound for the whole world.
