CCM Airlines
CCM Airlines (Code AITA: XK ; Code ICAO: CCM ) is a French Airline company , old Corsica Compagnie the Mediterranean , from where its initials.
The company was founded in 1989 to facilitate the access to the Corsica . It employs in 2006 more than 650 people.
In December 2005, the company changes legal structure and obtains a directory which reduces the influence of the elected officials of the Assembly of Corsica.
History
The company was created on January 1st 1989 and began its services in June 1990. In November 2000 it changed its name Corsica Compagnie the Mediterranean by CCM Airlines. The partnership with Air France was developed and the network was wide. The company is managed by the Corsica Territorial collectivity (60.37%), Air France (11.94%), Crédit Agricole (7.55%), SNCM (6.68%) and the remainder by 6 investors. 653 employees (in March 2007)
