CARMAM

The oopérative C of has provisionning and of R eparation of M atériel eronautic M oulins has was founded in April 1958 on the aerodrome of Moulins - Avermes, Mr. Castanier while being appointed Managing director. From 1963 it launched out in the aeronautical construction industry, manufacturing under license the sailplanes M-100S Mésange then M-200 Foehn. In 1969 Public limit company CARMAM succeeds the Co-operative, Mr. CASTANIER while being named Chairman and managing director. The same year she undertakes the realization of a small series of German sailplanes Libelle.

July 26th, 1971 Mr. CASTANIER carries out le1er flight on its " IMPALA " , left its workshops. This company established on the aerodrome of Mills-Avermes, initially manufactured under license of the sailplanes conceived in Italy, the single-seater M100 " Mésange" and the two-seater M200 " FOEHN" before manufacturing, always under license, a small series of " Libelle" German then, Under the impulse of the team Jacquet/Pottier is then carried out small sailplanes JP15/34, 15/36 and 15/38 and one racer any plastic, the JP20/90 Impala.
