C-18
C-18 is a character of the Manga Dragon Ball .
History
Initially human, C-18 is transformed into Cyborg by the Doctor Gero (alias C-20), just as his/her twin brother C-17. After the defeat of C-19 against Vegetated, Gero takes refuge in its laboratory. It then leaves C-17 and C-18 their artificial Sommeil, so that they kill His Gokû and his/her friends. But both Cyborgs, which does not agree to be under the control of Gero (which has a remote control being used to activate a system of self-destruction of Cyborgs), are turned over against their creator and eliminate it, then activate C-16 so that this one accompanies them in their research by His Gokû.
Like his/her brother, C-18 is Cyborg very resistant to the combat, and under his pretty face hides a pitiless individual. Thus C-18 arrives without difficulty of overcoming Végéta at the time of their first meeting. However, when Cell, which wishes to absorb both Cyborgs to reach the “perfect body”, manages to find them, they can nothing make against him. Whereas C-17 was absorbed by Cell, Krilin with the possibility of activating the bomb which is in C-18 so that Cell cannot absorb it, but it fell in love with C-18 and cannot pass to the act, so that Cell ends up absorbing C-18 in its turn.
Later, at the time of the Concealment Range, Its Gohan, in its combat against Concealment, arrives one moment to take the advantage and strikes to him a powerful blow. Under the pain, Concealment “recrache” or “involuntarily vomits” (in more vulgar) the body of C-18 than Krilin recovers at once to be occupied some.
After the defeat of Concealment, the friends of Its Gokû call upon the Dragon crowned, and Krilin emits the wish that the bomb which is in the body of C-18 is defused so that this one does not run any more the risk of autodétruire. C-18 reacts very coldly to this favor granted by Krilin, and from goes away, but when the history takes again a few years later, one discovers that they married and have a girl, Maron (like specifies it Krilin in Its Gokû, C-18 is not a robot with whole share but human equipped with cybernetic additions, it is thus always ready to procreate). They live in the house of Kamé Sennin ( Kamé House ).
When Its Gohan announces to them the nearest arrival of a Tenka Ichi Budôkai, they decide to be registered to gain the sum allotted to the winners. When the course of the tournament is disturbed by the departure of Its Gokû and all its friends who will prevent the resurrection of Boo, C-18 remains only true claiming with the title to face Mr. Satan finally. Its power ranking by far above Mr. Satan, who wishes however not to be ridiculed in front of the public by losing the combat, they manage an agreement and C-18 lets it gain the combat provided that it gives him the double of the money promised to the winner.

Although after the saga of Concealment the role of C-18 in the series remains rather discrete, it briefly reappears in DBGT (episodes 44 and 47), whereas his/her brother C-17 is on the point of amalgamating with new C-17 created by Dr. Gero and Dr. Miyu in Hell. C-17 comes to seek his/her sister to propose to him to join him, but this one is brought back to the reason by Krilin and refuses. C-17 kills Krilin then and tries to be caught some with their daughter, Maron. C-18 is thrown then on him, desperate by the death of her husband, but it is not able to overcome it, and disappears at Krilin, after him to have murmured that it liked it. She comes then to assistance of Gokû which fights Super C-17, and decentralizes this last by bombarding it of gusts of energy. Whereas Super C-17 absorbs all this energy, it lowers its guard, which makes it possible Gokû to again attack and to overcome it.
