César Rodríguez Álvarez is a former Spanish footballer of the years 1940-1950, born with León the June 29th 1920.

Biography

It passed most of its career to FC Barcelona, it was better striker of the championship of Spain in 1948-1949 with 28 goals and is still today the second best striker of the history of the Catalan club with 301 goals (behind Paulino Alcantara), all confused competitions. It made a passage in France in Perpignan in end of a career and involved then the FC Barcelona of 1963 to 1964.

He played twelve matches for the Spanish selection, and marked six goals under the national shirt.
