César Gabriel de Choiseul-Praslin

César Gabriel de Choiseul-Chevigny , marquis de Choiseul, then duke of Praslin and par of France (1763), count de Chevigny and of the River, Viscount of Melun and of Be worth, baron of the Arrow, Holy-Suzanne, and of Giry, lord of Chassy, is a soldier, diplomat and French statesman born the August 15th 1712 and dead the November 15th 1785.
He married on April 30th 1732 Anne Marie de Champagne the Unpleasant ones of Suze.

He was general Lieutenant and ambassador with Vienna. He was accepted like knight of the Holy Spirit the 1762. He was named honorary member of the Academy of Science the December 15th 1769.
Cousin of Etienne François de Choiseul-Stainville, it was secretary of foreign affairs October 13rd 1761 with the April 8th 1766.
The April 10th 1766, Choiseul took again the wallet of the Foreign affairs and his/her cousin undertook the department of the Navy which it preserved until the December 24th 1770, date on which, Choiseul having been disgraced, it was replaced by the abbot Terray.
