César Budan of Russian
César Budan of Russian (born the December 13rd 1787 with Saumur, in the Maine-et-Loire - died the February 16th 1853 with Turns, Indre-et-Loire) was a French soldier of the 19th century, Brigadier general, which was ordering royal school of Cavalry of Saumur.
Biography
Resulting from a honourable family which made him give a distinguished education, César Budan of Russian is allowed with the military academy of Fontainebleau in year XIII, it left as second lieutenant the September 23rd 1806, and passed from there in the 14th regiment of the hunters to horse which it joined in Italy. It made with this regiment all the campaigns of the Empire until in 1814, and was wounded seriously with the Bataille of Vittoria.
After the dismissal of the army, in 1815, it entered the Hussard S of the guard as captain, ordering a squadron; it left this body only with its dismissal, in 1830. Recalled to the service in 1833, as lieutenant-colonel, it was named colonel of the 7th dragons the April 14th 1835.
The April 14th 1844, it was promoted with the Brigadier general rank of , and the following year, it made named ordering royal school of Cavalry of Saumur.
César Budan of Russian was commander of the Legion of honor.
He died in Tours (Indre-et-Loire) the February 16th 1853.
