Céphisodote , Athenian speaker, is one of the ten ambassadors that Athens sends to Sparte in 368 av. J. - C. It directs, with a fleet of ten vessels, a forwarding in the Chersonèse: but having concluded a treaty which displeases with its compatriots, it is relieved, put in judgment, and escapes from little from the capital punishment.
