Cénéré de Saulges

Holy Cénéré de Saulges (7th century: °~ 600 - † 680) was born with Spolète in a noble family. The May 7th celebrates.

It arrived in the Maine in 649 in company of his brother Saint Céneri to live there in penitence. It made spout out a source with the place which bears its name, close to Saulges (Salvia) (Mayenne) in the diocese of the Mans. It is there that it would have founded the church and where its relics are venerated. It is also called Sérène or Sérenède.
