Anecdotes
- It is the nineteenth cyclists of the turn of France to have gained several stages over one 10 years period or more. It is the second to gain only 2 stages over the lathe and only 2 to 10 years of interval. Only Ferdinand Bracke had obtained 2 victories at 10 years of interval. But it is Rene Vietto which holds the record of the greatest number of years past between 2 victories of stages over the Tour de France with its successes of stages in 1935 then in 1947. Gino Bartali also obtained victories of stages but especially the victories of the Tour de France at 10 years of interval in 1938 and 1948. The performances of Rene Vietto and Gino Bartali are all the more important because of second world war. Jean Alavoine, Henri Pelissier, Philippe Thys, Louis Mottiat, Andre Leducq, Antonin Magne, Andre Darrigade, Jean Stablinski, Raymond Poulidor, Felice Gimondi, Gerben Karstens, Joaquim Agostinho, Lucien Van Impe, Lance Armstrong and Richard Virenque also made a success of this performance since the creation of the Tour de France in 1903.
- Cédric Vasseur is titular of a diploma of Engineer obtained with the Isen of Lille.
