Cáceres (Mato Grosso)

Cáceres is a big city located in the state Brazilian of the Mato Grosso and built on left bank (Eastern) of the Río Paraguay (with kilometer 2250 since the confluence with the Río Paraná).

Transport

The city has an important river port, especially intended to export the agricultural produce of the northern area of the state, as well as state of the Rondônia. The port, regularly dredged, makes it possible boats of 1,2 meters draft to make the way since Corumbá (located downstream (with the km 1530) and where the railroad passes) quasi all the year.

Cáceres has also an airport (code AITA: CCX).
