Lorenzo Corsini , the future Clement XII (in Latin Clemens XII , in Italian Lenient XII ), was born the April 7th 1652 from a famous family whose André Corsini was holy member. After studies with the College Jesuit, it obtained a Doctorat in right to the University of Pisa. Created Cardinal by Clement XI, and elected Pope the July 12th 1730, succeeding Benoit XIII, it became almost completely blind and paralyzed, although its brilliant intellectual faculties and its capacity to choose a qualified entourage allowed him a brilliance pontificate.
