Byzas

Byzas was the son of the Nymphe Keroessa, girl of Io and Poséidon.

Byzas melted the town of Byzance in 667 before J-C. This one took the name of Constantinople to the XVIe century and changed for the last time of name into 1923: it became Istanbul but lost its statute of capital of the Ottoman Empire.
