Byron Nelson

Byron Nelson (February 4th 1912 - September 26th 2006) was a player of professional Golf American, called “the Lord Byron of the golf”.
Biography
Born in 1912 on the family farm with Waxahachie, Texas, it makes its beginnings like caddie in 1922 with the club Glen Garden of Fort Worth, Texas.In 1937, it gains the Tournoi of the Masters and finishes fifth with the British Omnium. It gains the omnium of the United States in 1939, then the championship of PGA in 1940. It is victorious again Tournament of the Masters in 1942.
In 1944-1945, it becomes “one of the best players of the history” according to Arnold Palmer. It gains 31 of the 45 tournaments in which it takes part during these two years, including 11 tournaments of sharpened in 1945, always unequalled record, and gains the championship of the PGA again.
Known as a gentleman and considered as the father of the modern dash to the golf, it takes its sporting retirement with 34 years, in 1946, and turns over to its ranch of Texas.
It is found died by his wife with her residence of Roanoke, close to Dallas, the September 26th 2006.
