By-pass of Rennes
The by-pass of Rennes is the Trunk road RN 136 which forms a ring around the town of Rennes and to which star the expressways connecting Rennes to the main cities of the area are grafted.
The construction of this loop begun in 1968 was progressive in the direction of the needles of a watch, on the basis of east (RN 157, coming from Paris).
The by-pass belongs to the roads of the agglomeration supervised by the network Dorbreizh, the western by-pass the section charged (2x3 ways) thus supports a traffic of one hundred thousand vehicles per day on average.
