Buzz Lightyear\' S Astro Blasters

Buzz lightyear' S Astro Blasters , Buzz Lightyear' S Laser Blast ( Buzz the flash, fights laser , in French) or Buzz Lightyear' S Space Ranger Spin is an attraction of the Disney parks. It currently has several variations, almost different for all the Disney parks of the type Magic Royaume . It takes as a starting point the world of Toy Story.

Attraction is made up of a scenic course new generation, a kind of train for two people where the visitor belongs to the decoration: it " tire" indeed using a gun placed on its coach on the decoration.

History

The basic history of attraction relates to the intentions of the Empereur Zurg to steal all the energy resources (of the batteries) used to supply the space engines of the Small green men. The participants (visitors) are new recruits of Star Command sent to overcome Zorg.

The queue of attraction is flooded bright colors, white, blue and green with the image of Buzz the flash itself. As this last is a toy, the decoration is clearly on an articulated toy scale. Elements are giant reproductions of articles like nuts or directions for use which is actually that of attraction. A Audio-animatronic of Buzz the flash and a magic shelf ( Etch-HAVE-Sketch ) give their councils for the " mission". This audio-animatronic uses a innovating system of projection by the back for the face of Buzz what makes it very realistic.

Technical sides

Astro Blasters and Space Ranger Spin is with half a scenic course in Omnimover and a shooting range. The visitors embark on board space vehicle in two places guided by a joystick (for rotations) and including/understanding two guns laser. The joystick makes it possible to make rotate the vehicle in order to choose its target. Rifles make it possible to aim at targets disseminated in the course then to draw above thanks to the laser. According to the target a number of point is allotted to the player. A digital dial gives the score of the player who will post himself in the honnor roll at the end of attraction.

The visitor is photographed during attraction and its final score is encrusted in the image, which it can then send by email or buy.

The version of Disneyland proposes thanks to a connection with Internet to people to play since on their premises et/où to help the visitors of the park to gain more points by activating special targets increasing the score of the two teams (on the spot and on their premises).

It is called Buzz Lightyear' S Space Ranger Spin . It is slightly different from its counterparts. It is the first " mouture" attraction and it is a little longer.


Tokyo Disneyland

Attraction differs little from its American counterpart and opened in the place of old the Timekeeper. It is the favorite attraction of the park for much of Japanese, causing queues of more than one hour at least as of the opening of the park.


Disneyland

Attraction names Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and takes again the version of California.


Disneyland Paris

Buzz the Bataille flash Laser (in French in the advertizing campaigns, but named Laser Buzz Lightyear Blast in the park) is an interactive attraction. It differs little from its American counterpart or Japanese. attraction with opened with the public on April 8th 2006, in the place of old the Visionarium , in Discoveryland.

On board your vessel (XP-41), you must save the universe of infamous the Empereur Zurg which decided to conquer the world. Thanks to your pistolaser, you must touch a maximum of targets throughout the course. The targets, once touched, make is to appear a new target or a surprised animation. Each vehicle is autonomous and makes it possible to turn to 360°, one can go up to two per vehicle.
