The scandal of the faked matches

The public takes note of the conversations of Luciano Moggi, managing director of Juventus, and Pierluigi Pairetto, former referee, charged by the Italian federation of football with selecting the referees for the meetings of championship between 1999 and 2004. During these exchanges, Moggi gave its instructions for the referee nomination in the matches of his team.In September 2005, the parquet floor of Turin had initially classified the business, the phone-tappings not making it possible to establish corruption or of purchase of match.
