Business of the Crossroads of the development
The business of the Crossroads of the development is a politico-financial Affaire French of the Eighties, and which implied in particular Christian Nucci, then socialist minister of the co-operation, like its Principal private secretary, Yves Chalier.
It was one of the first scandals of the first Septennat of François Mitterrand. It related to a diversion of 27 franc million between 1984 and 1986. One of the finalities of this Crossroads was the construction of a private mansion for Christine Valbray, friend of François Mitterrand whose Francoise Chandernagor brushed the rise in the Without similar. Christian Nucci profited from an amnesty on April 4th, 1990. The scandal which rose from this business with in particular led to a reform of the French system of co-operation in 1998.
