The Business consultancy SPACES or BGE is a non-profit making company French whose vocation is to help the people who wish to create or take again a company. It brings personalized councils and formations to the chart to find or enrich its idea by creation of company, to give a progress report on its competences, to undertake its market research, to establish its business the plane, to find financings for its creation project or of resumption of company, to control its management tools, to choose legal status, tax and social which is appropriate.

Created in 1980 per Henri Marois, the BGE bore successively different names according to its development. With its beginnings, SPACE is initials which mean Etudes and Services for the Promotion of the Creative activities of Employment, represented today by the E in initials BGE. The network of the Business consultancies also developed and the diminutive " BG" imposed itself in the current language of this domestic network.

The BGE is a major actor in the universe of the creation of company in the Nord/Pas-de-Calais Area area. It is one of the three large operators of the regional program I Create in the Nord/Pas-de-Calais Area for the council and the formation, at the sides of the Chambers of commerce and of Industry, and the Rooms of Trades.

The BGE strongly contributed to the regional economic innovations in the field of the creation of company. Initially with the beginning of the year 1980, in the fact of bringing councils to applicants for work who wish to create a company, then in 1982 while contributing to one entitled book " Tools for créer" then republished " a little later; ABC of the créateur". In 1983, Henri Marois imports the concept of platform of local initiatives in the Nord/Pas-de-Calais Area. In 1984, Henri Marois imports in company of Bernard Derosier, then Vice President of the General advice of North, the concept of hives of companies from the town of Shannon in Ireland. In 1993, the BGE sets up a module innovating to learn how to find ideas. The concept named Moraine developped at the point by the university of Stirling is always used in 2007. In 1998, the concept of incubators of companies to the test is also tested and constitutes in 2007 a tool impossible to circumvent for many carriers of projects which wish to be tested with creation before launching out for truth.
