Business Estelle Mouzin

The Affaire Estelle Mouzin is a French criminal case having begun on January 9th, 2003 with disappearance with Guermantes in Seine-et-Marne of Estelle Mouzin, young girl then 9 years old and who returned from the school.

The business knew an important press coverage in France. One year after disappearance, a silent walk was organized by the parents and the class of school of Estelle Mouzin, in Guermantes. She gathered: 1200 people, whose artists Charlélie Seams and Michel Delpech.

The alleged serial killer Michel Fourniret, stopped in June 2003 in Belgium, had been initially suspected of having removed the child. However, after having considered the assumption, the police force drew aside it because of an alibi: a phone conversation which the supposed killer would have had in his residence at the very moment of disappearance. In spite of this alibi and denials of the suspect, the assumption of the connection between this business and Michel Fourniret has, more than de three years after the disappearance, summer again taken into account by the prosecutor of Charleville-Mézières, after the discovery of a televised recording and photographs of the young girl in the residence and in the computer of the suspect.
