Bushwacker

Bushwacker is super-unpleasant created by Marvel Comics. It appeared for the first time in Daredevil #249 , in 1987.

Origin

Carl Burbank was priest when it lost the faith, after some of its parishioners died by overdose. He was recruited by the CIA, was equipped with a cybernetic arm and became the special agent Bushwacker.

He started to scorn the mutants and to track them, especially those which had capacities related to arts. He returned then in conflict with Wolverine and Daredevil. Wolverine, transferring itself, started to track the hunter, while Marilyn Rogers, the woman of Burbank, asked for the assistance of Daredevil, because her husband was to go to asylum. Daredevil prevented Wolverine from killing it, but Bushwacker succeeds in fleeing and continuing its murder series. Finally, it was overcome by the two heroes, the face with half burned, and imprisoned.

Its coming out of prison, it joined Mary Typhoid to be avenged for Daredevil.

He worked thereafter for Wilson Fisk. He was left for died by the Punisher. When his wife left it, he worked for a drug trafficker who asked him to kill to defer it Ben Urich. But Burbank let the journalist reveal the illegal activities of the caid. He however was imprisoned. At its exit, it excécuta its employer.

Other contracts opposed it to NOMAD, Deathlok and Elektra.

Imprisoned from the Raft, he escaped at the time of the escape from Sauron orchestrated by Electro. He was very of follows committed by the Chacal to kill Punisher, but was overcome once more by Daredevil.

Capacities

Carl Burbank had the left arm replaced by a cybernetic prosthesis. This weapon can be used like a lance-flame or a machine-gun. It is reloaded by what Bushwacker (balls or gasoline) introduces.
the skin of Burbank is liquefied in the event of opened wound, thus avoiding any risk of hemorrhage to him.
